We are delighted to present the first official publication of Siparantum Choir – the piano collection “24 Piano Pieces for Children”, composed by our very own Memli Kelmendi.
This book is a heartfelt effort to bring children closer to the world of music through simple yet expressive and imaginative pieces. It aims to blend musical education with elements of our cultural heritage, offering a contemporary and creative approach to early piano learning.

This publication marks the beginning of a new chapter for Siparantum Choir – as a publisher of original educational and artistic materials for children.
Më 26 Prill 2025, në orën 20:00, Kori “Siparantum” u ngjit në Matthäuskirche në Berlin, si pjesë e koncertit “Around the World”. Ky koncert mblodhi bashkë ansamble dhe kore të shquara nga Greqia (Polychromon), Spanja (B-Tenors) dhe Lituania (ARTyn), duke krijuar një mbrëmje me dimensione të thella ndërkulturore dhe artistike. Kori “Siparantum” u prezantua me një program të pasur që përfshinte vepra të kompozitorëve bashkëkohorë , kulmuar me premierën botërore të veprës “Hear my prayer, O Lord” nga kompozitori gjerman Christian Bährens. Kjo vepër u drejtua nga vetë autori, duke i dhënë interpretimit një karakter unik dhe një ndërlidhje të drejtpërdrejtë mes krijimit dhe ekzekutimit artistik.
Formacioni u përforcua nga solistët Rizah Jahaj, Leon Shehu, Erijon Palucaj, Diar Meholli dhe Kaltrina Miftari, ndërsa mbështetja pianistike u realizua nga Agron Shujaku dhe Denita Dedushaj.
Në kuadër të festivalit ndërkombëtar ChoralSpace, Kori “Siparantum” mori pjesë në një sërë punëtorish muzikore dhe sesionesh interpretative, të cilat përfaqësuan një përvojë formuese për koristët në tërësi. Këto punëtori ishin të fokusuara ekskluzivisht në veprat e kompozitorit të njohur Ola Gjeilo, i cili ishte i pranishëm si kompozitor dhe pianist, duke kontribuar drejtpërdrejt në procesin interpretativ të veprave të tij dhe duke ndarë me pjesëmarrësit reflektime mbi procesin krijues, ngjyrimin estetik dhe ndërlidhjen midis tekstit dhe muzikës.
Në kuadër të paneleve të diskutimit dhe prezantimeve artistike, Kori “Siparantum” u ngjit në podiumin e sallës Otto Braun Saal, Berlin për të interpretuar veprën “Still” të Ola Gjeilo-s, nën shoqërimin ë pianistes Denita Dedushaj.
Koristët e Siparantum-it, së bashku me ansamble të tjera pjesëmarrëse, patën mundësinë të përfshiheshin në një proces të thelluar muzikor nën drejtimin e dirigjentëve të mirënjohur nga vende të ndryshme të Evropës. Kjo qasje multidimensionale në punën me repertorin bashkëkohor solli një pasurim të ndjeshëm të përvojës interpretative dhe artikulative të korit, duke thelluar jo vetëm aftësitë vokale, por edhe ndjeshmërinë estetike dhe vetëdijen stilistike të interpretimit. Veprat e kompozitorit Ola Gjeilo, të karakterizuara nga ndërtimi i ngjeshur harmonik, linjat modale dhe teksturat me ngarkesë emocionale, u punuan përmes një procesi të kujdesshëm muzikor të udhëhequr nga një plejadë dirigjentësh, secili me qasje të veçantë stilistike dhe pedagogjike. Dirigjentët që drejtuan këto sesione ishin Ilmārs Millers, Steve De Veirman, Stefan Schuck, Iveta Mikalajūnaitė, Lesley Challender, Memli Kelmendi, Valerija Skapiene dhe Kalina Marszałek-Dworzyńska.
Më 27 Prill 2025, në sallën prestigjioze të Filharmonisë së Berlinit, Kori “Siparantum” u ngjit në skenë në pjesën e parë të koncertit për të interpretuar premierën e veprës “Zanat e Malit”, vepër Premierë nga kompozitori Kreshnik Aliçkaj.

“Ishte një përvojë shumë e mirë. Më interesonte, si kompozitor, të dëgjoja se si tingëllon vepra në Filharmoninë e Berlinit, duke pasur parasysh që është një ndër sallat më të mira në botë për nga akustika, dhe u ndjeva shumë mirë që isha sot këtu. Shpresoj në bashkëpunimet e radhës dhe në vepra të tjera premierë, siç ishte kjo,” u shpreh kompozitori Kreshnik Aliçkaj.
Kjo vepër për kor femrash, violinë, piano dhe kastanjeta solli në skenë një bashkëdyzim të thellë mes mitologjisë shqiptare dhe gjuhës bashkëkohore muzikore. Interpretimi u realizua në bashkëpunim me violinisten e shquar Sihana Badivuku, një nga emrat më të vlerësuar të skenës koncertale shqiptare dhe ndërkombëtare, me shoqërimin e pianistit Agron Shujaku dhe nga Aurora Hyseni, në kastanjeta.
“Ishte për mua një privilegj të jem pjesë e performancës dhe koncertit këtu në sallën e Filharmonisë së Berlinit me Korin “Siparantum”, nën udhëheqjen energjike dhe unike të dirigjentit Memli Kelmendi, i cili me të vërtetë inspiron prej vitesh me punën dhe përkushtimin e tij. Kjo vepër ka elemente interesante, motive dhe dialogje ku violina, pianoja dhe kori bashkëbisedojnë në skenë. Falënderoj shumë për bashkëpunimin Memlin, Agronin, Kreshnikun dhe zërat fantastikë të këtij kori, i cili mendoj se ka një të ardhme edhe më të ndritur përpara, ndonëse ka arritur shumë deri më tani, sepse ka ndërkombëtarizuar kulturën tonë kosovare dhe do t’i hapen edhe më tej dyert në skenat botërore”, u shpreh violinistja e shquar Sihana Badivuku.
“Zanat e Malit” u prit me entuziazëm dhe admirim të veçantë nga publiku i pranishëm, duke marrë kritika të larta pozitive nga muzikologë dhe adhurues të muzikës .

Pjesa e dytë e koncertit në Filharmoninë e Berlinit, më 27 Prill 2025, përfaqësoi kulmin artistik, duke sjellë në skenë mbi 500 pjesëmarrës – 485 koristë nga ansamble të ndryshme nga mbarë bota, orkestrën dhe vetë kompozitorin Ola Gjeilo, i cili shoqëroi veprat në piano. Ishte një përvojë unike ku çdo zë bëhej pjesë e një organizmi të përbashkët artistik, dhe ku fuqia e tingullit e tejkaloi çdo kufi. Në këtë mbrëmje të jashtëzakonshme, u interpretuan disa nga veprat më të njohura të Ola Gjeilo-s si The Spheres, Tundra, Ecce Novum, Ave Generosa, Across the Vast Eternal Sky, The Rose, Ubi Caritas dhe The Ground. Momenti më emocional i mbrëmjes ishte padyshim ngjitja në podium e dirigjentit të Korit “Siparantum”, Memli Kelmendi, i cili drejtoi veprën “The Rose” përkrah mbi 500 pjesëmarrësve.
“Të jesh i rrethuar nga 500 zëra në Filharmoninë e Berlinit, përballë vetë Ola Gjeilo-s, ishte si të gjendesh në zemrën e një universi muzikor – ku çdo tingull lundronte si një dritë e padukshme në ajër dhe përqafohej me tjetrin në heshtje të thellë. Ishte një moment ku fryma e botës u bë një zë i vetëm, i përbashkët, që prekte shpirtin me hijeshi hyjnore,” u shpreh Memli Kelmendi, dirigjenti i Korit “Siparantum”.

Pjesëmarrja në këtë ngjarje përfaqësonte më shumë se një prezencë koncertale – ajo shënoi një angazhim të thellë në procesin e promovimit të vlerave tona muzikore në skena të mëdha ndërkombëtare, si dhe në krijimin e urave të bashkëpunimit me artistë dhe krijues të njohur botërorë. Kjo përvojë e pasuroi rrugëtimin artistik të Korit “Siparantum” dhe forcoi më tej vizionin për një art që ndërton dialog, ndan identitet dhe frymëzon përmes muzikës.

On April 26, 2025, at 20:00, the Siparantum Choir will perform at the “Around the World” concert, held at the renowned Matthäuskirche in Berlin, as part of the prestigious Choralspace Festival. The choir will share the stage with choral ensembles from Greece, Spain, and Lithuania, including:

Siparantum will present a curated repertoire featuring works by internationally acclaimed composers, including the world premiere of “Hear My Prayer, O Lord” by Christian Bährens, a composer with whom the choir has built a long-standing and fruitful artistic collaboration. The choir will be joined by soloists Rizah Jahaj, Leon Shehu, Erijon Palucaj, Diar Meholli, and Kaltrina Miftari, accompanied on piano by Agron Shujaku and Denita Dedushaj.
On April 27, 2025, at 11:00, the Siparantum Choir will perform for the fifth time at the iconic Berlin Philharmonie—one of the world’s most celebrated concert halls—marking another historic milestone in its international journey. This concert represents the pinnacle of Siparantum’s participation in the Choralspace – Walking in Beauty festival, featuring a special collaboration with world-renowned composer and pianist Ola Gjeilo.
The performance will begin with a joint concert of all participating choirs. During this segment, Siparantum will premiere “Zanat e Malit”—a new composition by acclaimed Kosovar composer Kreshnik Aliçkaj, written for girls’ choir, violin, piano, and percussion. The performance will include contributions from celebrated violinist Sihana Badivuku, pianist Agron Shujaku, and percussionist Aurora Hyseni.
In the second part of the concert, the choir will join 500 singers from around the world and a professional orchestra to perform some of Ola Gjeilo’s most celebrated works: The Spheres, Tundra, Ecce Novum, Ave Generosa, Across the Vast Eternal Sky, The Rose, Ubi Caritas, and The Ground—all accompanied by Gjeilo himself on piano. A highlight of the evening will be the invitation extended to conductor Memli Kelmendi to lead the performance of “The Rose”—a rare and prestigious honor, in recognition of his exceptional artistic leadership and the high artistic standards demonstrated by the Siparantum Choir on the international stage.
This upcoming performance at the Berlin Philharmonie will mark the fifth appearance of the Siparantum Choir at this legendary venue. Over the years, the choir has collaborated with some of the world’s most esteemed choral figures, including Simon Carrington, Mihály Zeke, and Ēriks Ešenvalds.
During the festival, Siparantum’s choristers will also participate in intensive workshops and collaborative sessions led by Ola Gjeilo, providing a valuable opportunity for artistic growth and international exchange.
This journey stands as a powerful testament to the role of the Siparantum Choir as a cultural ambassador of Albanian musical heritage and a shining example of cultural diplomacy in action. Siparantum Choir performed yesterday at the Decoration Ceremony marking the 17th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, organized with great solemnity by President Vjosa Osmani.
At this special event, we were joined by the orchestra of professors from the “Halit Kasapolli” music school in Peja. Together, we created beautiful moments through joint performances, bringing unforgettable emotions to all attendees.

Sot, në shkollën e mesme të muzikës “Halit Kasapolli,” nxënësit patën mundësinë të përjetojnë një eksperiencë unike, duke marrë njohuri dhe frymëzim nga trajneri Narti Kelmendi. Gjatë kësaj punëtorie, ata eksploruan botën e produksionit muzikor digjital, duke përfshirë proceset e incizimit, miksimit dhe masterizimit, dhe hapën horizonte të reja krijuese.

The workshop is progressing successfully in several schools across the Republic of Kosovo as part of the unique project: “Workshop on Digital Composing, Recording, and Music Production in Music Schools.” Today, at the “Halit Kasapolli” High School of Music, students had the opportunity to participate in an engaging session led by the talented trainer Narti Kelmendi. During this workshop, they explored the world of digital music production, focusing on recording, mixing, and mastering processes while discovering new creative possibilities.
A special thanks goes to the music school students for their enthusiasm and dedication, as well as to the school’s director, Rreze Kastrati.
